By accessing or using HaltPredict (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
HaltPredict is a stock halt prediction and analysis platform. The Service includes: real-time LULD halt monitoring, AI-powered predictions of reopen direction (UP/DOWN/FLAT), community calls and chat, a progressive jackpot, a leaderboard, and optional email, push, and SMS alert notifications.
The AI model predicts halt reopen direction only. It does not predict specific prices, magnitude of moves, or future halts. There are no guaranteed results — historical accuracy of 55.9% does not guarantee future performance.
HaltPredict provides information and entertainment — it is NOT a financial advisor, broker, or investment service.
3. Not Financial Advice
ALL content on HaltPredict — including AI predictions, community predictions, halt analysis, and any other data — is for informational and entertainment purposes only.
Nothing on this platform constitutes financial advice, investment advice, trading advice, or any recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security.
You should consult a qualified financial advisor before making any investment decisions. Past performance and prediction accuracy do not guarantee future results. Trading halted securities carries significant risk including total loss of capital.
4. The Jackpot & Predictions
The progressive jackpot is a gamified feature for engagement purposes.
- The jackpot is virtual and has no cash value
- No real money is wagered, won, or lost
- Predictions are locked and timestamped for transparency
- Users get one prediction per halt
- HaltPredict reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the jackpot at any time
5. User Accounts
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- You must not share your account with others
- You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service
6. Chat & Community Guidelines
Users must not post:
- Spam, harassment, threats, or hate speech
- Illegal content
- Market manipulation attempts
- False claims of insider knowledge
HaltPredict reserves the right to remove messages and ban users who violate these guidelines without notice.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, data, algorithms, predictions, and branding on HaltPredict are owned by HaltPredict. You may not scrape, reproduce, or redistribute our data without written permission.
8. Data & Privacy
- We collect: email address, prediction history, and chat messages
- We use Supabase for authentication and data storage
- We do not sell your personal data to third parties
- We may use anonymized, aggregated data for research and product improvement

9. Subscriptions & Cancellation
- Paid tiers (Trader at $29/month or $290/year, Pro at $99/month or $998/year) are billed via Stripe with a 14-day free trial
- You may cancel at any time from your settings page or by contacting support
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then
- Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis
- HaltPredict reserves the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers
10. SMS Text Message Terms
By opting in to SMS alerts, you consent to receive automated text messages from HaltPredict about stock halt events. SMS alerts are available to Pro subscribers only.
- Opt in: enable SMS alerts in your settings and provide your mobile phone number
- Opt out: reply STOP to any message at any time, or disable SMS in settings. You will receive a confirmation message and no further texts
- Help: reply HELP to any message for support information
- Frequency: message frequency varies based on market halt activity and your alert threshold setting (typically 0–20 messages per trading day)
- Carriers: compatible with all major US carriers. Message and data rates may apply
- Your phone number is never sold, shared, or used for purposes other than delivering HaltPredict halt alerts
- HaltPredict is not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages due to carrier issues
By opting in you agree: consent is not a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to cancel. Reply HELP for help. Msg & data rates may apply. Msg frequency varies.
11. Limitation of Liability
HaltPredict is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:
- Trading losses based on our predictions or data
- Service outages or downtime
- Errors in data or predictions
- Actions taken based on community chat content
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
12. Modifications
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of material changes via the platform.
13. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support.
